Our mission

Let's change the narrative.

Swimming is a vital life skill. You deserve to reclaim your joy in the water and make it yours.

Conquer your fears.

Learning to swim can be daunting, especially given the historical and cultural ties that many of us have with water. Join us in a space that honors this history and supports your journey.

Heal your mind and body.

Embrace the water as a space for healing. Let go of past fears and rediscover your strength and serenity.

Learn in a cultural-sensitive space.

Guided by a Black woman swim instructor who understands your journey, you'll learn to swim in a space that values and respects your experience.

End the cycle of generational patterns.

With only 19% of children learning to swim if their parents don’t, breaking this cycle empowers future generations. Start your journey today and pave the way for your family.

Heal your inner child.

Faith Over Fear

My biggest faith over fear move to date was an Underwater snorkel photography session in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.

I decided to tackle my fear of the water through this guided experience. It required trust and relaxation, but it was mission accomplished at age 61.

Next up, swimming on my own.
